At this year’s Good People Ouray Retreat, we are proud to feature four dynamic voices bringing real-world experience across clinical leadership, workforce development, operations, culture, dementia care, hospitality, and organizational growth.

Together, Angie Gray, Micala Gingrich Gaylord, Paige McMaster, and Adam Baker will lead a timely and important conversation on “Future of Workforce & Clinical Leadership.” This session will explore what today’s leaders must do to build stronger teams, create healthier cultures, support frontline caregivers, and prepare senior living organizations for what comes next.


Angie Gray

Founder, High-Performance Nursing | Creator, The Nurse Leadership Mastery Program

Angie Gray is the founder of High-Performance Nursing and creator of The Nurse Leadership Mastery Program. She is a keynote speaker, certified coach, and nurse leader with more than 34 years of healthcare experience.

Known for blending heart with strategy, Angie helps nurses and healthcare leaders build emotional intelligence, strengthen leadership skills, and transform workplace culture from the inside out. Her keynotes, workshops, and trainings are real, relatable, and grounded in decades of hands-on leadership experience.

Angie speaks to healthcare organizations, nurse leaders, aspiring leaders, and decision-makers, helping audiences leave energized, equipped, and ready to lead with greater clarity, connection, and purpose. She has been featured on stages across the country and on live television, including co-hosting The Future of Nursing segments on The Dr. Oz Show.


Micala Gingrich Gaylord

President & CEO, ComfortCare Homes

Micala Gingrich Gaylord is the President and CEO of ComfortCare Homes, where she leads with a deep commitment to dementia care, community engagement, and meaningful connection. She was recognized as a Health Care Hero in 2023and named a 40 Under 40 recipient in 2019.

Micala is a certified dementia practitioner and trainer serving the Wichita community and beyond. She is passionate about ComfortCare Homes’ mission of caring for those living with dementia and supporting the people, families, and teams who walk alongside them.

Beyond her work in senior living, Micala is a local artist and active community leader in Wichita. She serves as Vice President of the Jupiter Arts Academy board, is a board member of Harvester Arts, and recently joined the Downtown Rotary Club. Her passion for community development reflects her belief in creating places where people of every age feel seen, supported, and connected.


Paige McMaster

Strategic Change Leader | Operations Modernization | Sustainable Community Building

Paige McMaster leads change, implements strategic initiatives, and modernizes operations to help build thriving, sustainable communities. Her work lives in the space where strategy, execution, and people intersect, bringing structure to complexity and turning ideas into meaningful action.

Paige leads cross-functional initiatives that improve efficiency, strengthen resident experience, and support long-term business health. Her approach centers on aligning vision with execution and measurable impact, while helping organizations balance today’s needs with tomorrow’s outcomes.

Her work often includes introducing thoughtful technology, modern systems, and new ways of working that enhance resident autonomy while streamlining operations. Just as importantly, Paige coaches leadership teams to think with adaptability, experimentation, and sustainability in mind.

Outside of work, Paige finds clarity in the backcountry. Navigating uncertain terrain has taught her patience, humility, and adaptability — lessons that directly shape how she leads.


Adam Baker

Senior Living & Hospitality Executive | Team Builder | Growth Leader

Adam Baker brings more than 35 years of leadership experience across hospitality and senior living, with a proven track record of building teams, scaling operations, and driving sustained growth.

Prior to joining Frontline in 2017, Adam was the founder, chairman, and CEO of Larkburger, a Colorado-based fast-casual restaurant concept focused on premium, chef-driven burgers. Under his leadership, Larkburger grew from a single-unit startup into a 13-location regional brand. Adam led capital raises, built a strong organizational culture, and developed the operational foundation for long-term scalability, ultimately exiting the business in 2016.

Before launching Larkburger, Adam spent 15 years in the hospitality sector leading the development and operations of upscale, full-service restaurants. His focus on team development, guest experience, and operational efficiency consistently produced strong results.

Outside of work, Adam spends as much time as possible with his wife, Amy, and their three teenage daughters. To manage life’s stresses, he enjoys riding bikes and motorcycles of all shapes and sizes. Adam holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an MBA from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.

Future of Workforce & Clinical Leadership brings together four distinct leadership perspectives with one shared focus: how to better support the people who serve, lead, and care within senior living.

This conversation will explore the realities facing today’s organizations, including workforce pressure, clinical leadership development, cultural transformation, operational change, emotional intelligence, dementia care, technology adoption, and the importance of building teams that are prepared for the future.
